BAFTA-Recognised Aesthetica Short Film Festival 2018

The BAFTA-Recognised Aesthetica Short Film Festival (ASFF) offers a fantastic opportunity for local filmmakers.

With entries for the 8^th edition open, we’re looking for both established and emerging filmmakers pushing the boundaries of film forward, to showcase their talent to international audiences.

ASFF wants to hear from filmmakers taking steps towards new filmic and stylistic ways of storytelling, accepting submissions across 12 genres including; Advertising, Animation, Artists’ Film, Comedy, Dance, Documentary, Drama, Experimental, Fashion, Music Video, Thriller and Virtual Reality (VR),

ASFF Prizes include; Screenings at a major BAFTA-Recognised festival, Awards for Best of Category, Festival Winner (£1,000), Best Screenplay (£1,000) & People’s Choice Award, and further exposure with editorial coverage in Aesthetica Magazine online and in print.

New for 2018, ASFF is exploring longer forms of storytelling, accepting  Feature Film submissions.
