In the Spotlight today is the 4thBentonville Film Festival(BFF). Co-founded by Academy Award winner Geena Davis, BFF is a one of a kind annual event that champions inclusion in all forms of media. With an emphasis on women's empowerment, inclusion and social responsibility, BFF strives to showcase media that features a balanced representation of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, ability and age - both in front of and behind the camera - that accurately depicts the world around us.

With support from founding sponsor Walmart and presenting sponsor Coca-Cola, as well as prize sponsors AMC Theatres, Lifetime, Starz and American Cinema International - BFF guarantees theatrical, television, digital and retail home entertainment distribution to a select winner. In addition to the distribution prize, BFF offers filmmakers unparalleled access to industry influencers and corporate executives who are all vested in creating inclusive content, as well as access to BFF's large array of Discussion Events which feature pioneers in the world of diversity and inclusion.

Varietyreports, "BFF continues to distinguish itself as a fest not only invested in promoting the ideals of gender equality & cultural diversity, but also as a launching pad for burgeoning artists to distribute their big- and small-screen projects." In 2018 programming will include action-oriented discussion events, nightly musical performances, and celebrity events. Past guests have included Meg Ryan, William H. Macy, Judy Greer, Patty Jenkins, Terry Crews, Marilu Henner, Jane Seymour, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Stephanie Beatriz, Aisha Tyler, Nely Galan, and Jewel.
