In the Spotlight is the 18th Beverly Hills Film Festival(BHFF), offering amazing cash awards across multiple categories. BHFF invites filmmakers and screenwriters to be a part of one of the most influential film festivals in the heart of Hollywood at the TCL Chinese Theater, welcoming an extraordinary group of celebrities, judges, writers, directors, producers, and journalists to pave the way for extraordinary careers for filmmakers. Feature films, documentaries, animations, screenplays, student films, and short subject endeavors all get the opportunity to showcase at the Festival. To support filmmakers' and writers' careers, BHFF awards $1,000 USD in the Short Film category, $1,000 in the Documentary film category, and $1,000 in the Screenplay category.

During this five-day, five-star event, BHFF hosts more than 44,000 attendees each year, and it brings together hundreds of the most reputable media outlets from around the globe. The celebrated talents at the festival benefit from more than 600 million media impressions as a direct result of their attendance and achievements. BHFF is always proud to host one of the most exclusive annual events that has remained genuine and affectively focused on the cinematic industry throughout the years, offering one of a kind red carpet publicity events, world-class screenings, world premieres, uniquely designed educational workshops and seminars taught by the very best in the entertainment industry, and a lavishing, black-tie Awards Night Ceremony. The fifth and final day of the BHFF is dedicated to the highly sought-after gala, the Awards Night Ceremony which highlights the festival winners.

The Festival is proud to present distinguished and coveted awards, including the Golden Palm, the ACE Award, and the Living Legend Award, honoring some of the most gifted filmmakers and screenwriters working today. Additionally, BHFF honors great work both in front of and behind the camera with awards for editing, cinematography, performance, and more. The recognition received from such noteworthy awards combines several admirable stepping-stones toward a distinguished filmmaking career.

BHFF has paid homage to legends including Jon Voight, Phil Stern, and Haskell Wexler, along with D.W. Griffith and Federico Fellini, both of whom cut their filmmaking teeth nearby.
