The Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris is a one-year training programme for young European film producers  and distributors at La Fémis in Paris and the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Ludwigsburg.  The programme is funded by the Creative Europe MEDIA sub-programme of the EU.

Besides European applicants, international candidates are also eligible for the training year at Ludwigsburg-Paris.That also gives non-European beginners the opportunity to acquire or develop their skills for a career in the European film industry.

Please note: In 2017-2018, applications by only English-speaking candidates will be accepted.  But it is not only hoped that candidates will have a knowledge of German or French, they will also be obliged to take language courses before the beginning
of the programme and attend language classes which will be organized during the sessions in Ludwigsburg.  The first two parts of the programme will be interpreted simultaneously (German-English or French-English) or the classes will be held entirely in English.

The application deadline for the course 2017-2018 is on 31 May 2017.
