UFVA Invites Members to Post Syllabi on our Website

UFVA encourages members to submit syllabi for posting on UFVA.org.
Syllabi can be submitted to the Teaching and Learning Committee.
Please submit to the Executive VP, UFVA at email@example.com
Syllabi should not include details such as:
semester or year
office hours, contact information for professor, classroom number and other such specific details.
professor email address or phone number
course numbers, name of institution, classroom names or numbers
specific dates, days of week (please use headers such as Week 1, Module 1a, 1b, 1c – Week 2, Module 2a, 2b, 2c, etc)
Syllabi can include:
course title or name
level (first year – graduate)
professor or instructor name
Syllabus designed by Professor XXXX for third-fourth year undergraduate students in (department, school) of XXXX (communication, cinema, etc.)
Header should include:
Author’s Name (professor, instructor, etc)
Year of submission to UFVA online syllabus forum
Specific institutional academic integrity guidelines should not be included as these vary across institution. Include some ‘general’ Academic Integrity guidelines. URLs for syllabus creator’s specific institution may or may not be useful as institutions vary in language and how academic integrity breaches are reported, evaluated, etc.
Provide a list of resources to other instructors/professors such as:
Bibliography of relevant readings
Screening sources (online or rental, etc.)
Grading matrix examples
