The 70th annual UFVA Conference will be held from Sunday, July 30 through Wednesday, August 2 at California State University Los Angeles. The theme of the 2017 conference will be "Diversity: Inclusion and Convergence - Media in the 21 st Century."
Located fifteen minutes east of downtown Los Angeles and thirty minutes from Hollywood, CSULA is one of the most culturally diverse campuses in the United States. Dr. Suzanne Regan, longtime member and past president of the UFVA and her CSULA colleagues are looking forward to welcoming all to their home campus. They are confident of an engaging and beneficial experience for all.
Conference submissions opened January 1 at ufva.org. To submit, you need to be a current member of the organization.
The deadline for Paper & Panel proposals will be February 1st at 11:59 pm. Proposals for New Media, Films/Videos, Scripts, and Workshops can be submitted until 11:59 pm on March 1st.
