Vanderbilt University's Film Studies Program seeks to appoint a scholar at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, with tenure, beginning Fall 2009. The Program grants a B.A. in Film Studies and offers two possible emphases: Film Criticism and Film Practice. A Graduate Certificate is in development. We seek a candidate with a demonstrated scholarly record in film theory and criticism. The successful candidate will be expected to teach core courses in Film Studies and to participate in program development.
